空间更新国际建筑设计公益竞赛
上海市摄影家协会成立于1962年5月10日,是上海市内摄影最高学术和权威的专业艺术团体,隶属于上海市文学艺术界联合会,由摄影家,摄影教育家,摄影理论工作者,摄影记者,图片编辑,摄影组织工作者,以及摄影器材感光技术等方面的专家组成。协会办公选址几经波折,最后由简庆福先生作为牵线人和共同捐赠人,于1985年11月将香港摄影家郭少棠在沪的一幢房产以两人的名义捐赠给当时的中国摄影家协会上海分会(现上海市摄影家协会),作为协会办公和会员活动之家,即现在的上海市摄影家协会所在地——华山路351弄3号。
为了更好地为上海摄影人提供服务,上海市摄影家协会所在之华山路351弄3号楼亟需进行内部空间的修缮与改造,以提升上海摄影会员之家的空间功能与环境。上海市摄影家协会、上海应用技术大学计划联合举办“‘上摄协’杯上海市摄影家协会空间更新国际建筑设计公益竞赛”,联手上海高校建筑设计力量,鼓励上海青年设计人才发挥智慧与创意,共同为上海摄影地标建筑的升级更新出谋划策、提供帮助。

二、竞赛主题
主题:可持续概念的既有建筑适应性再利用
“在绿色发展理念下,循环经济方面我国已经立法,需从生态环保节能角度切入,考量既有建筑的改造问题。大多数老旧的既有建筑因为文化价值较低和技术上的局限,多面临拆除的结果。而用循环经济的理念,延长它的结构寿命,为其空间注入新的活力,是当今存量发展中更具普遍性的问题。” ——中国工程院院士崔愷
三、设计内容
设计对象:上海市摄影家协会(静安区华山路351弄3号)
设计内容:拟将原室内空间进行更新设计。建筑为四层带天井、面积约为300平方米的建筑。
各层功能如下:一层为接待、展示;二层是协会办公空间;三层是《摄影》杂志社办公室,四层是库房。建筑造价需控制在1000元/平方米。
参赛者需自行判断既有建成环境价值,提出更新设计策略。鼓励参赛者从既有建筑更新的理解及使用功能出发,运用恰当的空间语汇,兼顾建筑的文化价值和现行技术手段,提出前沿的、实用的创作理念。鼓励设计能够绿色生态技术、运用合理的技术手段、采用低碳材料、注意节约能源和控制造价。(现场照片、具体功能见附件)
四、评审及奖项
由高校学者、行业专家组成竞赛学术委员会负责出题等相关工作,上海摄影家协会主席团联手专家学者共同组成专业评审委员会负责评审,获奖选手将获得由主办方颁发的证书,奖励如下:
1、一等奖1项,奖品Wacom PTH660,颁发证书;
2、二等奖3项,奖金Wacom CTL6100,颁发证书;
3、三等奖8项,奖金Wacom CTL672,颁发证书;
4、优秀奖、优秀指导教师奖若干名,颁发证书。

六、竞赛报名
1、参赛资格:本竞赛面向国内外高校建筑学、室内设计及相关专业在读的本科生、研究生公开征集,同时欢迎有志于报考建筑设计专业的高中生投稿。允许以个人或小组形式参赛,每组成员不超过3人。
2、报名及成果提交方式
发送作品至邮箱:IC@SIT.EDU.CN,文件不大于10M,邮件正文写明参赛作者姓名、指导教师和所在院校的信息。
七、提交内容及要求
1、设计成果要求:内容包括表达概念与设计主题的文字说明、总平面图、平面图、模型照片或场景效果图,以及作者认为必要的表达设计策略和空间关系的其他图纸和照片。
2、图纸(jpg格式):以上各图及设计说明均须安排在一张竖向构图、A0尺寸(1189mm×841mm)的图纸以内;图纸比例自定;图面表现方法不限,但应努力追求忠实于空间的表达。RGB色彩模式,图纸分辨率控制在300dpi,文件大小保证在10MB以内。
3、作品标题及描述:作品描述控制在200字左右。
八、注意事项
1、竞赛文件中不得出现任何有关作者姓名、指导教师和所在院校的信息。
2、竞赛评委不得作为指导老师指导学生参赛。
3、参赛作品的使用权归主办方所有,主办方有权行使作品的多终端信息网络传播权。
4、参赛作品不得侵害他人的著作权,不得使用复制、拷贝其他杂志、书籍、网络的图片内容,如有发现一律取消参赛资格。
“SPA CUP” International Charity Contest of Space Renovation and Architecture Designing for the Building of Shanghai Photographers Association
Founded on May 10th, 1962, Shanghai Photographers Association is a professional art group, representing the highest academic standard and authority of photography in Shanghai. Affiliated to Shanghai Federation of Literature and Art Circles, the association is made up of photographers、photography educators、photography theorists、photography reporters、photo editors、organizers of photography activities and experts of photographic equipment and photosensitive technology. Choosing the location of the association office had gone through several twists and turns. It was finally Mr Jian Qingfu, as a go-between and co-donator, that dotated a Shanghai property of Hongkong photographer Guo Shaotang’s in the name of both Guo Shaotang and Jian Qingfu himself to Shanghai Photographers Association, which was called Shanghai branch of China Photographers Association at that time. Since then, the property has been functioning as the association’s office and the members’club, locating at No.3, 351 lane, Huashan Road. It is also the current address of Shanghai Photographers Association.
To provide better services for Shanghai photographers, Shanghai Photographers Association’s office, No.3, 351 lane, Huashan Road, is in urgent need of interior renovation to improve the spatial function and working environment for the members. Shanghai Photographers Association and Shanghai Institute of Technology is jointly holding. The contest aims to invite architecture designing talents from universities in Shanghai and collect their wisdoms and ideas to help with the renovation of the landmark building of Shanghai photography.

Theme of the Contest
Theme: Renovation of existing buildings under the concept of Sustainability
Under the concept of green development, China has passed the law to develop recycling economy.
The renovation of existing buildings should take energy saving and environmental protection into consideration. Because of their low cultural merits and limitations of technology, most of old existing buildings have to be demolished. How to prolong the life of the building and renovate its interior space with the concept of recycling economy is nowadays an universal problem in inventory space development.

What to Design
Design Object: Shanghai Photographers Association( No 3, Lane 351, Huashan Road, Jingan District)
Design Contents: You are supposed to renovate the interior space of the building, which is about 300 square meters and has four floors and a courtyard. The first floor is for reception and exhibition; The second floor is the association offices.
The third floor is the office for the Photography magazine. The fourth floor is for storage. The construction cost should be limited to 1000 yuan per square meter.
Participants are supposed to evaluate the existing construction and make a renovation design plan.
Participants should thoroughly understand the concept of renovation of an existing building and the functions of each floor. Choosing the design style should take both the culture value of the building and current technological means into consideration. Use of green technology、sound technological means and low-carbon materials are encouraged. Energy-saving and cost controlling should be paid attention to. Judges and Awards
The assignment of the contest is made by the contest’s academic committee which consists of scholars from universities and experts of the industry. The judging panel consists of the board of the committee as well as scholars and experts. Those who win the contest will get certificates and awards as follows:
1. The first prize: to one contestant. The winner will receive a Wacom PTH660 and a certificate.
2. The second prize: to 3 contestants. The winners will each receive a Wacom CTL6100 and a certificate.
3. The third prize: to 8 contestants. The winners will each receive a Wacom CTL672 and a certificate.
4. Excellence Awards and excellent instructor awards will be granted to several contestants and instructors. They will each receive a certificate.
Contest Schedule and Arrangement
1. The organizer releases the guideline of the contest in March, 2022.
2. The closing date for entries is 10th May, 2022.
3. Results of the contest will be announced in June, 2022.
Registration of the Contest
1. Who can participate?
The contest is open to college students and graduate students who major in architecture、interior design and other related areas as well as high school students who aspire to architectural design. You can participate as an individual or a group, of which numbers should not be more than 3.
2.How can I participate?
You can email your design to IC@SIT.EDU.CN. The file should be smaller than 10M. Please include your name and the information of your instructor as well as your school in the body of the email.
Submission Requirements
Requirements of the design: Textual description about design concept and theme、the general lay-out、the plan、picture of models or scene rendering and other necessary explanation about design strategy and spatial relationships should be included.
Design drawing (JPGformat):The drawings mentioned above and textual notes should all be adjusted within one A0 drawing (1189mm×841mm), which is of vertical composition. The scale of the drawing can be determined by the designer. The way of representation of the drawing is unlimited but should be close to reality. The color mode is RGB. Resolution of the drawing is within 300 dpi. Please make sure the file is no bigger than 10MB.
Caption and description: The description of the design should be about 200 words.
Notes of the Contest
1. The name of the participants as well as the instructors and the school information should not be included in the design files.
2. Judges of the contest should not be instructors.
3. The organizer owns the right to use the designs submitted. The organizer owns the right of communication through network of the designs submitted.
4. Copying and other behaviors that infringe copyright are strictly forbidden in the contest. Anyone who violated the rule will be deprived of the contest accreditation..
